We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Lead with extensive hands-on experience in ION trading platforms and Market View to lead development, integration, migration and optimization of Fixed Income eTrading systems. The ideal candidate will have a understanding of Java/Microservices background.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development, enhancement, migration and support of ION-based eTrading applications, especially post trade process like STP Server, Trade Server, and swapswire
- Design and implement price contribution, post-trade STP, and regulatory reporting solutions for Bonds, IRS, CDS, and Repo products.
- Integrate ION components or equivalent with upstream and downstream systems, trading venues, and interdealer brokers (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, Bondvision, MarketAxess, BGC, GFI, Tullets, ICAP).
- Drive application upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives (JDK, RHEL, database platforms).
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver cross-region, low-latency trading platforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (OWASP).
- Mentor junior developers and manage Agile delivery processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- ION Technology(MUST): STP Server, Trade Server, Swapswire and Market View configuration & integration
- Tech Stack: Core Java, Spring Boot, Apache Storm, Zookeeper, ELK Stack, MongoDB, Sybase, Oracle, MySQL
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Git
- Domain Expertise: Fixed Income securities trading, market data integration, trade and regulatory reporting
- Strong understanding of low-latency, high-availability system design
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional development teams in Agile environments
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Experience in global investment banking technology teams
- Exposure to multi-region trading platform deployments
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
