Description:

The IT manager will lead a team of analysts who support the business areas in all their technology needs. He/She will set the strategic direction for the team and ensure adequate solutions are utilised by effectively managing competing and shifting priorities. Collaborate with business partners and subject matter experts in technology and support areas to implement and support business requirements and function goals within entity policy, expense and regulatory constraints.

Key Responsibilities

·       Leads and facilitates change through effective communication, preparation and implementation.

·       Manages expectations, results and impact of agreed outcomes, thinking ahead to identify and overcome potential issues.

·       Maintain awareness of business strategies and emerging technologies to provide high quality, technical solutions which support business goals and technical strategies.

·       Architects complex, large-scale change solutions, specifying all elements of the change journey and audience impacts. Steers and guides the team to deliver change implementation activities, and provides regular updates to stakeholders.

·       Demonstrates effective financial skills to develop a detailed business case, including investments, detailed benefits (financial, non-financial and strategic) and link to overall finances of the business.

·       Work collaboratively with Senior Managers from other areas in IT to ensure stakeholder and customers’ requirements are met.

·       Key relationships with the customer, discussing functional strategies, upcoming technologies, and potential risk and regulator issues vendors

·       Proactively seek opportunities to Organize IT services to improve a business operation in collaboration with others areas.

·       Establishes methods and criteria to observe progress and achieve excellence in all aspects of delivery to meet our customers’ requirements.

·       Establishes effective relationships across the business structure/matrix to ensure better engagement and better quality and effectiveness of deployment.

·       Use expertise to develop both high and poor performers and share knowledge by coaching and sponsoring training solutions where appropriate.

·       Embeds efficient risk, compliance processes and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

·       Background of at least 5 (five) years of previous experience working as IT Manager in Financial Institutions;

·       Advanced knowledge of the Brazilian financial market and products, preferably in the areas of Finance, Risk, Compliance and Operations;

·       Ability to build strong relationships with global/local vendors and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholders;

·       Understanding of business finance and experience of effective management of budgets and expenditure;

·       Working knowledge of Windows and Unix environment (SQL Server, Oracle, Control-M, MQ, Jira, G3, Nexus, Service Now, Splunk), including Web applications;

·       Prior knowledge of packages from vendors FepWeb, Zap, Easyway or Maps will be a plus;

·       Language skills: Advanced English is required and Spanish is a plus
