In Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) , we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. We help our customers look after their day-to-day finances and manage, protect and grow their wealth. Retail Banking plays a crucial role in executing the Wealth and Personal Banking strategy, providing strategic advice, frameworks and guidance to markets, that ensure all customer journeys, products and services are sustainable, inclusive and built with customers at the heart. Retail Banking brings together a united retail business, made up of the following global teams: Segments, Retail Products, Shared Services Contact Centre, Distribution and Enablers spanning Customer Experience, Marketing, Data and Analytics, Business Architecture, Sustainability and Inclusion for Wealth and Personal Banking

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Insurance Product Expert working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Principal Responsibilities:

a)    Meeting of KPIs

  • To achieve the desired Relationship Manager and Branch sales performance targets 
  • To achieve wealth insurance revenue aspiration.
  • To achieve the target product mix for PERML.
  • To achieve overall participation, productivity, conversion ratio, profitability and quality sales by individual Relationship Manager and Branch. 

b)    Sales Activities & Management

  • Performing professional support to Relationship Manager and Branch Leaders satisfaction.
  • Conducting reviews of Relationship Managers' client portfolios to identify any solution gaps and concentration risk.
  • Supporting Relationship Managers in client meetings, by explaining complex solutions related to their specialist areas and how they meet client's needs. Also identifying coaching opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Keeping Relationship Managers abreast of new product launches, improving product specific technical knowledge and their understanding of market outlook and trends.
  • Recommending solutions to meet clients' needs and their risk profile. This looks at the risk level of products held, against the risk profile of clients in Relationship Managers' portfolios.
  • The values which are expected to be always demonstrated, that is to be Open, Connected, Dependable and act with Courageous Integrity at all times.
  • Provide financial planning advice to customers in relation to their insurance portfolio
  • Provide updates via regular sales management meeting with sales leader
  • Organising branch activities i.e customer event in regional/branch level.
  • Responsible on overall insurance business of Relationship Manager and Branch

c)     After Sales Service

  • Provides after sales service & guidance to customers such as minor claims process, policy changes, etc.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Diploma /Degree, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Highly result oriented and keen interest in product support  position.
  • With min 3 years of relevant working experience in financial service industry with sales experience in Bancassurance and life insurance protection product preferrably in a banking environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
