 We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant Specialist

 In this role, you will:

• Building and maintaining KDB microservice based applications across multiple locations in a Hybrid (Colo-Campus-Cloud) model across the globe.
• Creating and updating automated reporting based off of KDB stored data
• Supporting quant team and downstream application teams
• Help build automated testing using QSPEC.
• Work cross functionally to plan and execute on projects.
• Provide operational support and manage incidents
• Building KDB systems. Dev ops and production support
• Helping to build out the ‘next generation’ of Equities execution platform at HSBC

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Must have strong KDB skills
• Must be familiar with kdb+/q tick architecture.
• Experience with qspec testing framework
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Demonstrable knowledge of market data, trade data
