We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.

Business: Wealth & Personal Banking IT

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Contribute in all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Provide delivery advice with consideration of technical direction for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HSBC IT systems to business
  • Develop an expert-level understanding of the appropriate business systems of the Group and their associated IT development requirements
  • Apply specialist expertise in the development of IT systems with the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost-effectiveness
  • Manage relationships at a product/service level with the business
  • Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal / external auditors and external regulators
  • Ensure awareness of compliance requirements and implementation of Group Compliance Policy
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 year's overall experiences in professional software engineering and 3 years in management of a team. broad ranging technologies of mobile
  • Solid technical depth in mobile architecture, popular AOS/IOS frameworks, in depth experience of mobile technologies, e.g. Kotlin, Swift
  • Lead experience of a DevOps team to support organization projects is preferred.
  • Familiar with mobile native app developing and best practice adhere with mobile popular framework.
  • Familiar with Mobile BDD unit test framework
  • Strong understanding on IT software development and different approach/methodology e.g. Agile, DevOps
  • Experience in mobile release, production support and incident management, CI/CD tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git
  • Be good at verbal and written English, with good documentation and task planning/management skill
  • Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts and defend technical choices relating to business, development and architectural requirements
  • Experience in working in matrix project teams, self-motivated and ability in working under pressure in matrix team structure
  • Be able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
