We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities
- Manages the Technology aspects of the system
- Prepares the technology roadmap of the system
- Reviews & updates the backlog of production defects, enhancement requests
- Ensures system capacity/scaling requirements are reviewed and the system supports to projected volumes
- Ensures System Testing and Non Functional Requirement (ITSA process) is completed*
- Ensures the Non Functional Requirements of the system are met on an ongoing basis
- IT Inventory Management, Security Testing & Review, Role Swap, Recovery Test, Monitoring and Logging, Privileged Access Reviews, Evergreening, Architecture Review
- IT Change and Service Quality Management is followed (Attends CAB, runs Incident Response, completes Review)
- Makes critical technical decisions on an informed basis during an incident or BCP event Assists to prepare the Business Impact Assessment in EIM (Enterprise Inventory Management) / ODS (Operational Data Store)
- Notifies the Business Owner of deviation to technology controls (eg Security Issues, Evergreen Issues)
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- More than 8 years Java development related experience
- Knowledge and hands-on experience on running critical workload in external cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Knowledge on tools and software including Splunk, AppDynamics, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the key infrastructure products such as Oracle, Linux, Windows, Liberty is a plus
- Understanding of service management techniques, including change management, incident management is a plus.
- Track record in working on the delivery of complex deployment projects and under diversified or matrix structure.
- Sound communication, presentation and influencing skills to work with business, IT colleagues, and external parties like vendors.
- Strong analytic skills to understand and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good command of written and spoken English. Cantonese is also preferred.
- Able to work at flexible hour to work with colleagues in various time zones.
