We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Project Management Officer. 

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • Support Tech Delivery leads and Programme managers in managing Group Data Technology Data Asset & Control projects with PMO supporting activities.
  • Support business manager in managing the DATaC financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and identify potential financial risk/ issue of team.
  • Foster close collaboration between the Central PMO Governance team and stakeholders.
  • Partner in successful delivery of the portfolio with the stakeholders within immediate team and partner with the IT COO, Business Manager, WFM, Procurement.
  • Perform regular health checks on data quality of financials.
  • Handle Financial Planning, Management & Reporting [incl. Budgeting & Forecasts, Co-ordination with central PMO team & stakeholders & pod leads.
  • Handle Vendor Management activities – Co-coordinating with vendor for on / off boarding.
  • Tracking of contracts and renewals as needed.
  • SOW billing, such as recharging, accrual, payment etc.
Requirements
  • Have a good understanding about Portfolio Management & Project Management activities.
  • Have good knowledge of HSBC finance tools and processes including and not limited to Clarity, GPDM, Allocation Method, Riskflo, Apptio, etc.
  • Candidate should have a good understanding about AOP Planning, Project Life cycle, Financial Aspect.
  • Good communication skills with English (spoken and written), Cantonese, Mandarin.
  • Excellent Analysis and Presentation skill is required.
  • Have Experience of using Project Management Tooling -  Confluence, JIRA, Sharepoint, other project management tools.
  • Ability to deliver on time and at a consistent professional level.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team, as required; work as a robust and resilient self-starter.
  • Manage all activities which focus on maintaining and optimizing the overall functional health.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Able to cope with tight deadline and demonstrate the ability of multi-tasking.
  • Supporting Business Admin Activities, Data Analysis & reporting, etc.
