We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior WPB Process and Solutions Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure effective operational control structures are in place, in compliance with Group standards and local regulations
- Monitor regulatory and internal control changes and requirements for impact analysis and develop measures to mitigate the risk to achieve business targets
- Maintain close liaison with business and functional teams to identify and mitigate control gaps and improvement areas
- Manage business initiatives in relation to control and Compliance
- Liaise with regulatory bodies as required to represent the needs of the industry and our customers
- Identify and mitigate emerging business, reputational risks
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team members deliver maximum performance and potential
- Share best practices and provide consultation to enhance areas for improvement, identifying and addressing training needs
Requirements
- University Graduate
- Prior management experience, ideally from a banking, financial institution
- Proficient strategic planning and project management capabilities
- Experienced in liaising with internal, external business partners and regulatory bodies
- Good command of written and spoken English as well as Cantonese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
- A strong leader with a drive for change and passion for excellence
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a GCB5 level position
