In this role you will:

  • Align sponsorship and event plans with the business objectives of Marketing, Corporate Office, Functions, IWPB, and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), securing stakeholder alignment and senior leadership input
  • Plan and execute sponsorships, events, activations and corporate hospitality to deliver a flawless customer experience
  • Manage relationships with partners, rights holders and agencies; act as the Bank’s centre of excellence for sponsorships/events and share best practice
  • Coordinate public relations, media relations, and internal stakeholder communications with the Communications Manager to maximise brand impact
  • Manage budgets and controls, track spend, measure outcomes and report return on investment, ensuring HSBC standards are upheld and a fair customer outcome is delivered

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in event planning/management and sound project management skills
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to represent HSBC brand qualities in a visible role
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, and confidence working with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and at irregular hours, including some weekends and holidays
