This role is part of the Mexico/ Latin America  CIB Marketing team and is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the business. We focus on understanding present and future customer needs and the identification, development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.

This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of customer-focused marketing events and digital/social media to support the Global Marketing strategic priorities and objectives.

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly enthusiastic individual to join the Mexico/ Latin America CIB  Marketing team to bridge the gap between both disciplines.  In this key hybrid role split between Events and Digital teams, you will:

  • Deliver high-impact and high visibility flagship events and sponsorships as part of a strategic runway of B2B events that target a global audience
  • Work with senior stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams and the CIB global business to manage and execute tentpole events that drive maximum value and return on investment to the brand and the business
  • Measure and evaluate success for planned activities

·       Coordinate, manage and implement social media campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn

·       Act as subject matter expert on social media, support the development and implementation of social strategy that aligns with CIB’s marketing objectives

·       Support in managing the content runway and governance of the CIB LinkedIn page

·       Proactively identify new social media opportunities and leverage social listening, performance reports, and tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and inform future strategies.

Requirements

·       Have a keen interest in pursuing a career in Marketing across events/digital and content

·       Proven track record in high profile global events management from brief to reconciliation, including pre and post event content creation, activation and amplification and meetings management

·       Experience delivering design and build of exhibition stands

·       Strong stakeholder management experience with third party suppliers/creative agencies as well as internal business stakeholders at senior level

·       Flexibility is essential with the ability to work potential evenings and weekends for the set-up of events and to travel overseas for events when required

·       Demonstrable social media and website content marketing experience

·       Ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies that align with overall marketing and business goals

·       Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and relevant content tailored to different platforms and audiences

·       In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms such as LinkedIn (paid & organic) and the best practices for B2B marketing

·       Experience in using social media analytics tools to track performance, analyse data and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement

·       Ability to work independently as well as a team

·       Attention to detail and a drive for excellence and quality

·       Ability to multi-task and handle different tasks at the same time
