Private Banking and Trust Services
Hang Seng's Private Banking provides services for people who have successfully built their asset base and now want to place their wealth in the hands of experts who know how to nurture it.
Our banking services and products are bespoke, ranging from tailored investment advice and capital solutions to holistic health and personal protection and trustee services. Our team offers professional wealth management advice at both a local level and on a global scale.
Should you join our Private Banking business, you will focus on building close relationship with our high-net-worth customers, providing professional advice and premium service to them and contribute to the profitability of the Bank.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Platform Manager, reporting to Head of Platform Management.
Principal responsibilities
- Manage and provide operational support and administrative services to the department, Front Office and Middle Office teams as well as coordinate team resources with other stakeholders to cope with business growth and development
- Lead the team to assist Front Office opening settlement accounts, perform various account maintenances, oversee the monitoring of client investment and re-investment under Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES) accounts, support system enhancements, conduct relevant user acceptance testing (UAT) and support system/platform related incidents
- Lead the team of receptionists and officer assistance managing the reception areas, greeting and assisting visitors, handling incoming and outgoing mails, answering and touring calls and providing necessary supports to others as needed
- Support Head of Platform Management in the implementation of Business Strategies/ Initiatives; identify streamlining opportunities and initiate procedural changes and/ or system enhancements to cope with internal or external requirements/ changes and ensure control effectiveness
- Conduct regular review on internal guidelines, work processes and service levels to enhance operational efficiencies
- Provide other platform management support, undertake other assignments/projects as required by Management from time to time
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Requirements
- University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
- Proven relevant banking experience, with knowledge in private banking operations and wealth management products as well as staff management experience an advantage
- Proactive and innovative with staff management, problem solving, communication and analytical skills
- Attentiveness to details, strong self-motivation and ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with good knowledge of application software such as MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
