We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Delivery Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments and multinational corporations, Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.

The Custody organization is a global team within Securities Services (SSv) responsible for the development and delivery of products within the Custody asset class. This role sits within the Asset Services Product offering where we are embarking on a journey of transforming our Asset Services offering and platforms across our Global Custody & Direct Custody businesses.

We are looking for a hands-on Product Delivery Manager with Corporate Actions experience to join our team. The role holder will be responsible for assisting the team with new ways of working, ensuring collaboration across the different teams, as well as updating and managing business cases and ensuring financials are on track. The role will require management & leadership capabilities including direct management and career development of teams.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that there is appropriate governance across the Direct Custody & Clearing Product Delivery Value Streams
  • Chair, facilitate and present updates on the global prioritisation of the Direct Custody & Clearing Global Book of Work as well as overall updates to aide decisions
  • Review case studies with the different teams and implementations
  • Encourage a positive, collaborative working environment across disciplines and teams to ensure strong alignment
  • Encourage adoption in new ways of working and governance as we transform our operating model to a value stream aligned model
  • Management of multiple senior stakeholder groups to ensure they are updated on latest delivery roadmaps across Value Stream, Services & Locations
  • Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, and engage the team and functions on regular retrospectives to identify suggestions for change
  • Managing and leading teams (direct and indirect) towards goals for the value-stream that contribute to execution of the strategy
  • Responsible for overall business case and financials across the Direct Custody & Clearing Product Delivery teams
  • Responsible for ensuring communications across the area and different teams are updated
  • Responsible for maintaining the Direct Custody & Clearing roadmaps across services, value streams and countries
Requirements

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Corporate Actions Domain expertise
  • Proven experience in management and leadership capabilities, including direct management and career development of teams
  • Flexibility in approach, and the ability to show initiative and respond quickly to changing situations
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work to bring clarity by effectively engaging clients or partners
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment, with strong ability to influence and persuade
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly depending on audience (e.g. internal stakeholders, clients etc)
  • Ability to execute role with a high level of autonomy while being mindful of when to seek guidance and approval
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working across different groups and time zones
  • Knowledge of Post Trade, Equities or Fixed Income within a Custodian or Broker Dealer environment for Settlements, or Asset Services is highly desirable but not essential for this role
  • Sound understanding of IT infrastructure and software development
