The GTS Regional Head of Solutions Implementation is accountable for end-to-end delivery of complex Trade solutions to Commercial (CIB). The role holder will also have oversight for all Product and Channel on-boarding across GTS in Europe and Americas. Working in close collaboration with Coverage, Specialist Sales and Deal Structuring, the individual will need to be both technically savvy and commercially astute, capable of effectively managing a diverse range of functional stakeholders (i.e. Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk etc.) across a large and geographically diverse matrix-managed organisation in order to delivery complex Open Account as part of the end-to-end Product fulfilment lifecycle. Time-to-market, Time-to-Revenue, Delivery & Commercial Risk mitigation all represent key performance metrics in the role.

As our Regional Head of Solutions Implementation, GTS you will:

  • Implementation Methodologies, Tools & Techniques - drive innovation and industry best practice in the development & delivery of client implementation methodologies, tools & techniques, leveraging an ever-evolving FinTech Landscape as part of the end-to-end product fulfilment lifecycle. Develop the tools & techniques to support the provisioning, management and troubleshooting of technology-based issues part of client implementation lifecycle
  • Programme & Change Management - promote a culture of professional, programme/project leadership in a client-facing delivery environment, with accountability for all implementation activities as part of client transition through the solutions delivery lifecycle to business-as-usual
  • Client Consultation – Build a truly collaborative client-solutioning model, developing the organisational expertise to facilitate the client decision-making process leveraging the optimum technology solution(s), in line with desired product and technical capabilities and overarching business strategy
  • SCF Supplier On-boarding – accountably for all Supplier Acquisition and On-boarding activities associated with Supply Chain Finance, relentlessly focus on individual programme and overall business performance as measured against key on-boarding /revenue KPIs
  • Strategy Execution – drive business strategy development and execution; represent the GTS business in key group-level strategy development initiatives as it relates to the ‘client journey’
  • Governance & Control - focus on the effective management of delivery, commercial & operational risk as part of deal execution and fulfilment lifecycle.

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $250,000.00 and $300,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Over 10 years in a client-facing delivery environment, ideally within a global financial service organisation
  • Extensive global commercial banking and relationship management experience including an in-depth knowledge of the Trade & Receivables Finance business, specifically Open Account Solutions (Payables & Receivables Financing)
  • Experience of Supply Chain Finance Supplier Acquisition & On-boarding
  • Significant IT delivery knowledge and capabilities– and ideally of HSBC Trade, SCF and RF IT systems
  • Experience in systems architecture, operational efficiency, and client management within the context of Financial Services 
  • Expert in Project / Programme Management and structuration of projects and initiatives; client-facing technology delivery expertise desirable
  • Experience building, developing, and leading a global team, whilst managing within a complex matrix environment 
  • Be considered for Thought Leadership by industry peers
  • Ownership of business continuity and improvement of customer journey end to end, from acquisition through to ongoing client management 
  • A sound knowledge of all aspects of Trade & Receivables Finance, including detailed knowledge of the trends in within Global Trade market
