- Contribute to business development by identifying suitable target clients, attending meetings, and coordinating responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Enable proactive client management by attending client meetings with the Relationship Director and, where appropriate, independently or alongside product partners, act as a key point of contact for customers.
- Complete financial, credit, and profitability analysis, and prepare high-quality credit submissions for existing and prospective facilities.
- Provide day-to-day support across client planning, pipeline management, and coordination with product partners, ensuring client data and call reports are accurate and updated on time.
- Monitor and manage credit risk by reviewing concern lists and credit control reports and analysing relevant management information (MI).
- Ensure compliance with Group Policy and all regulatory, financial, and legal requirements, minimising business and reputational risk through ongoing monitoring and timely escalation where required.
You should apply if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree, with 5–8 years’ experience in a financial institution (credit experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of the financial and commercial drivers that inform strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge of the Bank’s structure, products and services (advantageous but not essential).
- Solid grasp of risk management disciplines and associated processes.
- Proven credit assessment capability, with strong credit writing skills.
