We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Experience with environment management activities like periodic UAT environment refresh, environments allocation to releases etc
• Managing regular environment forums for application stakeholders
• Experience with cloud environment is added advantage.
• Ensure and drive the environment build process in automated fashion
• Ensuring regular communication to relevant stakeholders regarding environment blockers/issues
• Execute the build automation and modules using CI/CD and build integrations between various Devops tools
• Manage all aspects of the end to end Release Deployment process across all platforms, covering major and minor/hotfix releases,  
• Ensure that Releases are managed effectively within the defined scope, with the right level of quality, controls and in a timely fashion
• Drive efficiency within team by identifying new & innovative ways of automating Release deployment process, quality gates closure & Reporting
• Build effective governance forums to ensure that the release deployment process, milestone plans and progress updates are communicated in a consistent, timely manner and is agreed with the release managers, platform, support teams, business, upstream prior to Prod deployment.
• Experience with evergreening of software’s & hardware’s for applications before the obsolete dates like OS, Oracle, middleware etc
• Execute the software application release management lifecycle steps, ensuring all applicable pre-requisites (including approvals, artefacts etc...) are satisfied at each stage.
• Working with managers across all functions/platforms to ensure acceptance of the Release deployment process and should serve as the single point of coordination for all changes that need to be deployed into PROD, regardless of the specific technology involved. 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Good understanding of scripting ANT/SHELL/BATCH.
• Experience with a variety of build tools: Maven/Ant/Visual C++
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Cruisecontrol is good to have.
• Experience with source control and version control management systems: Perforce, Subversion.
• Experience with automated deployment tools like Nolio, Ansible, Teamcity.
• Experience with evergreening of software’s & hardware’s for applications  before the obsolete dates like OS, Oracle, middleware etc
• Basic PL/SQL/Oracle/Unix knowledge
• Experience with Change Management tool like Service Now etc
• Good understanding of tracking tools like JIRA, RTC
