We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst - Data and Analytics - GAC WPB GLOBAL INSURANCE_GZ.

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business objectives and drive decision-making.
  • Ability to understand business problems and / or figure the business pain points.
  • Identify potential opportunities to drive higher business value.
  • Provide insightful analysis and strategy recommendations for key business stakeholders.
  • Manage deliverables in timely manners with high-quality. Also drive business benefits through self-initiated projects.
  • Design, develop and maintain dashboards thru data visualization toolkits to trace post-commercial initiatives effectiveness and performance.
  • Standardize Data & Analytics process / workflow. Conduct regular data cleansing and maintain various datamart in good accuracy, to gatekeep the databases have high data integrity.   
    Requirements
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Information System or other relevant qualifications.
    • Possess proven experience with specialization in one or more of these skills: Analytics, ETL Processing for data management, CRM initiatives, AI / ML engineering, cloud platform engineering, data visualization (MI / BI).
    • Strong analytical capabilities with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services / banking operations / insurance operations.
    • Practical knowledge of programming, preferably with proficiency in any one or more of tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, Qliksense or other equivalent visualization toolkits (like Tableau, Quick BI etc.) .
    • Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework. Experience on working on Data / Information Management projects of varying complexities.
    • Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to drive for success
    • Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas.
    • Knowledge and skill of CRM and Analytics.
    • Must be independent worker as well as a good team player.
    • Good spoken and written English. Cantonese (verbal) is a plus.

    Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
