We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Manage and champion a team of diverse and high-potential Business Analysts to help achieve our key objectives
- Build a high-performing team and develop individuals for further career development within HSBC Life and broader Wealth and Personal Banking
- Manage the Business Analyst team capacity and resource allocation across onshore and offshore centres
- Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to business analysts in addition to building career paths and development plans
- Using storyboarding, task analysis, and user research tasks to capture, develop user requirements and support product owner(s) to prioritize backlog
- Manage budgets and forecasting for business analyst team across onshore and offshore
- Management of external service providers
- Develop benchmarks, standards and principles for the BA role to adhere to ensure consistency in terms of output quality
To be successful you will need
- Degree in Business Information Systems or a related field
- Extensive experience gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects
- Sound Banking and Insurance background would be an advantage
- Have relevant experience in developing teams including skill and career development
- Deep understanding and proven experience in managing projects following agile methodology
- Ability to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management styles
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and sponsors
