We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: CIB - GPS Technology
Principal responsibilities
- Act as POD Lead for a key functional stream to support CIB Wholesale GPS CBCC API strategy to uplift the capability in the domain working closely with business and various stakeholders.
- Maintain close relationship with all stakeholders, service quality, and business teams and provide support to the program activities across business and technology teams.
- Provide effective technical solution for end to end business processes or functions.
- Responsible for arranging the Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily meeting, sprint review, retrospective as well as the team capacity review.
- Responsible for leading the POD in Technology delivery lifecycle including inception, construction, testing, release and ongoing management of a product or service.
- Responsible for project initiation, IT governance process, project progress facilitating and monitoring, as well as to mitigate the impediments on project implementation phase.
- Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure high quality standard and on time delivery under Agile methodology and support delivery team capability uplift.
- End to end accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate Technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
- Conduct risk assessment, identify and resolve all potential risks and issues, provide effective mitigation and contingency plan.
- 10+ years' IT software working experience of API and applications delivery.
- Proficient in Java Spring Boot/Cloud frameworks and multi-threaded programming.
- Rich experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning and ETL.
- Familiarity with technical design, security design, secret management, and system monitoring tools.
- Experience with Helm, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of additional cloud security and monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices, hands-on experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Experience on release automation, collaborate with DevOps team for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Solid knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and service mesh concepts.
- Experience with logging, tracing, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
- Solid skills of analytical and problem solving, able to drive independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines, strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex, distributed environments.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for backend services.
- Experience on stakeholder management, dealing with senior management, business and wide array of global stakeholders.
- Ability to perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience of Business Banking, to contribute the discussions with business stakeholders to suggest functional improvements of payment processing service.
- Demonstrable ability to mentor, develop talent and motivate staffs to reach their optimum performance levels and career development.
