We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: CIB - GTS Technology
Principal responsibilities
- Analysis, Design, Develop and lead junior teammate to implement IT solutions to meet business users’ requirements.
- Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
- Provide in-depth knowledge transfer and on-job training / guidance to improve team productivity.
- Work closely with global and regional stakeholders on projects delivery.
- Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed.
- Active participation on releases and code promotions, including training for support team handover.
- Providing L3 Production Supporting.
Requirements
- 5 years+ technical experience in Java , Unix/Linux , WAS , MQ etc.
- Programming against relational databases (SQL, stored procedures) – preferably Oracle/PostgreSQL.
- Solid knowledge of Spring framework, development experience in Spring & Spring Boot, Restful API development etc.
- Solid knowledge of Workflow framework , development experience in Activiti/BPM or related workflow system.
- Technical experience in system architecture design.
- Strong problem solving skill and work independently under pressure against project deadline.
- Strong Communication skills and documentation skills.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps.
- Skill set and development experience in cloud, Kubernetes & Microservices and implementation.
- Banking IT experience and business Knowledge in commercial bank (especially Trade) and related flow.
- Fluent English speaking and professional business writing skills.
- Adapt in global team culture and communication in different locations.
