We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: CIB - GPS Technology
Principal responsibilities
- Act as Delivery Lead for a key functional stream to support WSIT Payment CLM strategy to uplift the capability in the domain working closely with business and various stakeholders.
- Maintain close relationship with all stakeholders, service quality, and business teams and provide support to the program activities across business and technology teams.
- Responsible for arranging the Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily meeting, sprint review, retrospective as well as the team capacity review.
- Responsible for leading the POD in Technology delivery lifecycle including inception, construction, testing, release and ongoing management of a product or service.
- Responsible for project initiation, IT governance process, project progress facilitating and monitoring, as well as to mitigate the impediments on project implementation phase.
- Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide effective technical solution for end to end business processes or functions.
- Ensure high quality standard and on time delivery under Agile methodology.
- End to end accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate Technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
- Conduct risk assessment, identify and resolve all potential risks and issues, provide effective mitigation and contingency plan.
- Support delivery team capability uplift.
- 10+ years' IT software working experience of IT project management or software delivery.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in leading agile technical team and make sure the project delivery.
- Experience on front-end with knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Nodejs, npm, Webpack, Ajax and web reactive frameworks/tools(React.js, Webpack, Redux).
- Knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English and in Chinese with both Cantonese & Mandarin, fluency in oral English is mandatory.
- Solid experience on IT project lifecycle and management under Agile methodology - Scrum, Kanban and agile tools such as JIRA, confluence.
- Solid experience on IT governance process, i.e. ITSA or eITSA, Cybersecurity review, EHC, Data Visa etc.
- Solid experience on stakeholder management, dealing with senior management, business and wide array of global stakeholders.
- Experience on design review, technical components development and deployment.
- Experience of working as change controller in large programs delivering frequent and independent releases.
- Experience on release automation, collaborate with DevOps team for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Experience of Business Banking, to contribute the discussions with business stakeholders to suggest functional improvements of payment processing service.
- Experience on budget and cost management, project demand and supply management.
- Solid skills of analytical and problem solving, able to drive independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrable ability to mentor, develop talent and motivate staff to reach their optimum performance levels and career development.
- Business knowledge of bank payment monitoring/processing and clearing liquidity management will be an advantage.
