Data Analytics, & CRM (DA&CRM) is vital in transforming HSBC into a bank fit for the future. The team is functionally part of Global DA&CRM team and locally part of HSBC IWBP business accountable for building and commercialising data assets and advanced analytics capabilities to enhance customer experience reimagined, deliver business growth, enable data led innovation, and drive informed decision. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Australian Data, Analytics, & CRM team in the role of Senior Manager, Data & Analytics
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Work with IWPB business stakeholders to understand business problems and perform deep-dive analysis to derive actionable insights that enable informed business decisions.
- Deliver campaign analytics, customer segmentation, and machine learning models to optimize cross-sell, up-sell, usage, and retention campaigns.
- Utilise analytics and dashboard visualisation to support CRM and customer messaging with customer targeting, campaign forecasting, performance tracking and effectiveness measurement.
- Develop data products that transform customer, staff experiences and/or business decision processes; by leveraging advanced data and analytics capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience in marketing campaign analytics, customer segmentation and CRM performance tracking in a retail banking or wealth management environment along with experience in machine learning modelling for campaign targeting and optimisation.
- Proven experience in processing and analysis of large volumes of data using SQL, SAS, BigQuery, Python, R, or similar query tools.
- Proven experience with dashboard tools such as Qliksense, Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools.
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain and translate complex or technical concepts.
- Exhibit self-motivated, self-starter behaviours.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with members of different skills and experiences. Comfortable to operate in an ambiguous and fast-pace environment.
- Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on data and understand the implications.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
