We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

GPB&W ASP Transformation team is seeking driven, enthusiastic and ambitious professionals to join their Client Reporting and ESG delivery team.

The GPB&W business has embarked on a journey to design, build and roll-out world-class digital solutions, which complement our existing people and digital capabilities, as we look to provide our clients with a frictionless customer journeys across multiple channels and markets. The transformation team is partnering with our business to aggressively expand our modernize and converge the estate across GPB and WPB, expand digital offerings, and deliver against our strategic objectives, by executing in a highly agile manner where we actively embrace cross-functional and collaborative working. 

As a Delivery Lead, the candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with GPB & WPB business and delivery partners to take initiatives from initiation through to final implementation. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage the delivery of multiple complex customer experience enhancement initiatives from design through to release
  • Work directly with various stakeholders across multiple geographies, such as Product Owners, Business Analysts, Process Designers, IT, and Digital teams to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
  • Empower teams to collaborate and make effective decisions promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery and continuous improvement
  • Define Agile project working approach and enforce all team members to follow the same methodology
  • Ensure awareness, involvement and support from key stakeholders by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communications on the project status throughout its lifecycle
  • Ensure risks and issues are identified, managed closely and remove project blockers from the team
  • Drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
  • Contribute to post implementation reviews to demonstrate success and progress of projects
  • Make key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives
  • Develop various project documentation to stakeholders (e.g. Project Plan, Status Report, Implementation checkpoints)
  • Input to Business Case preparation, providing context and data to underpin assumptions
  • Supporting the delivery production line (development, testing and implementation) ensuring digital deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose to release to customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s/ University degree holder with minimum 8 years proven experience in project and change management
  • Deep working knowledge or experience of Global Private Bank business / Wealth Management business, with deep understanding of a wide range of financial products (i.e. Equities, Funds, Structured Products, Alternative Investments etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Client Reporting and ESG
  • Strong understanding of Global/ Digital/ Business Transformation and Agile methodologies and best practice techniques
  • Experience of working on complex projects with multiple workstreams, with the ability to identify the deliverables needed to complete a task or project
  • Highly adaptable, self-starter, ability to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action
  • Gains a clear understanding of others’ point of view by listening, asking clarifying questions and reflecting back; encourages and facilitates open and honest debate with tact and integrity
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills particularly in communication, workshop facilitation and consensus building
  • Articulates or translates complex information in clear, meaningful and structured way to suit audience
  • Ability to think laterally and innovatively and find creative solutions, with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Builds effective working relationships with analysis and design teams in our delivery partners and works well with external partners. Must be able to work closely with the IT team as well as business representatives
  • Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
  • Experience of planning and prioritizing their own time effectively, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently
  • Experience of working on complex projects with multiple workstreams
