We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities
- Work as part of Card engineering team with responsibility for CTB (change the bank) project delivery or ongoing RTB (run the bank) support areas.
- Review/Ensure the technical design/code structure is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.
- Work closely with junior engineers/developers and ensure the functional& technical design are developed with quality.
- Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior management.
- Provide professional consultancy/support immediately for application teams’ queries/requests including the resource estimation.
- Provide support to product deployment for projects as well as the regular FF support to maintain the stable system services.
Requirements
- Ability to understand the business requirements/user stories and link up to the related mapping system programs or modules.
- Ability to communicate with those key technical/functional related stakeholders to solve the technical query/issue.
- Previous experience working in AS400 RPGLE project development, 3+ years will be preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Understanding of credit card domain knowledge will be preferred.
