We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Business: CIB - Client Services Tech

Principal responsibilities

• Removing impediments for the team and shield them from interruptions, act as a coach to the team, Product Owner and wider organisation to help them continually improve, and facilitates the delivery of work and where appropriate.
• Ensure all activities performed within the team adhere to the relevant data standards and data controls.
• Ensure the level of automation within the team is optimised at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance.
• Work with the Product Owner, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories.
• Work with the Scrum master to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities.
• Accountable for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements and control objectives within the risk and controls framework.
• Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the team activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly.
• Accountable for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the team.
• Providing support to solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures & systems.
• Co-operating with Ops team & requirement team to confirm the policy rules and relevant requirement.
• Using word-based rules engine application to transform customer due diligence policies and rules into structured logic model.
• Design reusable rule base to ensure the scalability and reusability for smaller inclusions of projects
• Understanding data structures in different integrated systems, transforming variable business logic into a systematic-pre-set word-based rules using an Oracle application.
• Designing a full set of test cases to ensure workable policy rules.
• Using a pre-set debugger to debug a Oracle application based project, locating any bugs/defects and fixing forward.
• Using the pre-set debugger to perform a mock-up demo for business / Ops team and making the alignment with the same for frontend appearance.
• Managing modelling relevant documentations.
• Creating knowledge for policies, business rules, integrated details, etc.
• Using postman to perform a pre-set-up batch assess API testing and integrating it into a git repository
• Using online PvTs to prove the modelled policy is working as expected for a pre-set-up environment (either non-prod / prod)

• A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
• Banking domain in Regulatory & Compliance is an advantage
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced technical skills & data analyse skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Exceptional in Agile ways of working(Scrum, Kanban…etc.).
• A track record of following through on commitments.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience leading and developing top performing teams.
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
• Strong communication skills to interact with business and IT teams from various geographies to understand/explain requirements, source the required data
