We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
Business: MSS Operations Tech
Principal responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable, high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic solutions using mainstream programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and databases.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues by resolving complex technical issues and sharing best practices.
- Work within Agile frameworks to deliver solutions efficiently, adhering to software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Engage with clients to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adoption of industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java/C#/Python. Strong knowledge of databases. Solid experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures. Extensive experience in Agile methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Cyber Security Awareness: Strong understanding of secure coding practices and compliance.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Grafana, along with a strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- Certifications: Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Certified Solutions Architect) or other technical areas.
- Global Collaboration: Experience working in cross-cultural or remote team environments.
- Banking Knowledge: Familiarity with banking systems, architecture, and strategic solution design.
