We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced IT solutions to meet complex business users' requirements.
- Lead and execute comprehensive system tests, user acceptance tests, and provide expert-level support for system implementation.
- Ensure the highest quality of deliverables, strictly adhering to HSBC standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify areas for system improvement and innovation, driving continuous enhancement of application performance and functionality.
- A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
- 3-5 years experience with AS400 (RPGLE and CL on iSeries) is essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Expertise in test-driven development, Agile methodologies, and modern software engineering practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams in a global, English-speaking work environment.
- Highly self-motivated with outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in preparing detailed project documentation, ensuring strict compliance with audit, policy, and regulatory standards.
