We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities
l Define and execute the global infrastructure strategy to support WPB Insurance IT’s business needs and growth aspirations.
l Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migration to cloud platforms and adoption of containerization technologies.
l Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of infrastructure supporting Insurance applications globally.
l Collaborate with regional IT teams to standardize infrastructure practices and drive operational efficiency.
l Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, regional IT teams, and external vendors.
l Manage infrastructure supply/demand pipeline and provide guidance for decision-making to achieve business goals.
l Monitor infrastructure performance and implement proactive measures to address potential issues.
l Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure management practices and ensure compliance with global standards.
Requirements
Requirements
l Minimal 10+ years’ experience in infrastructure management, with expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud).
l Strong knowledge and implementation experience on Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
l Proven experience in managing global infrastructure projects and collaborating with regional teams.
l Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
l Expertise in networking, security, and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
l Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
l Are passionate about infrastructure technologies and look for opportunities to innovate and improve.
l Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
l Experience in implementing hybrid cloud solutions and managing multi-cloud environments.
l Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide regional IT teams.
l Forward-thinking mindset with a focus on aligning infrastructure strategy with business goals.
