The AMER FX SME/ BA will work very closely with the business and technology, focusing on Latam Products and Currencies for GFX Cash, STIRT & EM Rates Desks. They will own the definition and requirements of our products, the prioritisation of delivery, the development, the testing and the deployment of the platforms to the sales / trading / middle office communities.

As our Sr Production Support Specialist you will:

  • Working with technology and business stakeholders to build and develop HSBCs FX Cash, EM & STIRT primary trading system i.e RIVER
  • Responsible for delivery of user-centric functionality that will help to simplify trade execution and automate tasks for both front and middle offices.
  • Responsible for maintaining production stability and also help with business on their day to day operation on GFX RIVER
  • Helping to define the product roadmap and defining long term objectives in conjunction with the business and technology to establish a strategic and scalable approach
  • Refining product requirements and establishing the MVP through competitor analysis and user feedback
  • Working closely with multiple teams in IT & FO to refine user requirements whilst ensuring continuous improvement from conception to delivery through user feedback sessions
  • Reviewing and testing of releases in production prior to pilot user roll out
  • Co-ordinating working groups with senior management to update on progress, build consensus, highlight risks and issues and ensure accordance across future planned deliveries
  • Ongoing collaboration with marketing, sales and support throughout the product life cycle
  • Driving roll-out strategy to pilot users and establishing a good rapport to encourage feedback and further communication
  • Establishing effective governance and controls, in line with Business Transformation Framework, and co-ordinating cross DevOps and cross Global Business/Global Functions delivery

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $125,600.00 and $188,300.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Act as the interface, escalation point and voice of front and middle offices at programme and project level
  • Engage users and get regular feedback on the platforms
  • Communicate with all stakeholders and management
  • Oversight of rollout and user training
  • Own accountability for setting business priority and vision for the programme
  • Articulate what is the Business aiming to achieve: - What does the End State look like?
  • Prioritise requirements - Ensure business value is understood and taken into consideration
  • Provide business benefit for each requirement & how to measure it has being realised
  • Revenue, # of users using a feature etc.
