This team leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with our business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning, and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Talent Creative Lead. The base location for this role will be Hong Kong or United Kingdom.
Role Purpose
Support the business in a simple, customer focused way. The Talent Creative Lead will manager our in-house creative team and drive the development of compelling employer brand content and storytelling. This role is pivotal in shaping and building consistency in our brand identity and our expression across all platforms with creatively and brilliant campaigns. The role holder will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Enterprise Talent and our Group Brand team to create content and establish a cohesive employer brand presence that creates meaningful impact for talent internally and externally at HSBC.
Principal Accountabilities
Accountable for defining the creative vision for the Employer Brand, ensuring alignment with overall business goals; Accountable for providing creative leadership and direction to the in-house creative team, including designers, copywriters, and our agency partners.
Responsible for maintaining a cohesive visual and thematic style for all projects and touchpoints; Responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring the creative team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Accountable for supervising a cross-functional team, providing guidance and feedback on projects from concept to completion; Accountable for building, training, and managing a creative staff.
Accountable for leading the creative team in conceptualizing and executing innovative marketing across various channels (digital, social media, events, etc.) in collaboration with core stakeholders & team members.
Responsible for overseeing all creative projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and align with business objectives.
Accountable for building out an integrated, yet digital first approach which has talent journeys at the heart of how we work with clear guidelines for personalization.
Responsible for developing how we automate and scale content to enable global coverage with strong local personalization.
Accountable for redefining the digital ecosystem UX & UI in partnership with a content strategist to bring consistency in the architecture and storytelling across all out platforms and in a way that personalizes to priority talent segments.
Critical Skills, Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Creativity and Innovative Thinking: The ability to identify, analyse, and stimulate new opportunities, look beyond financial services for ideas and adopt, amend and tailor them to make it fit-for-purpose to the Bank.
Customer Centricity: The ability to advocate the importance of cross group customer engagement and outcomes. Identifies customers' needs and recognises their uniqueness, partners with them to identify and define improvements and additional opportunities.
Candidate Insights: The ability to understand human needs and tension points to creative strong creative and campaigns.
Relationship Management: Defines creative approaches to build strong and lasting relationships with agency partners.
Financial & Budget Management: Supports the employer Brand lead in creative budgets which identify value for revenue and opportunities for cost reduction.
Above the line & Performance Marketing experience: Able to do big beautiful campaigns, whilst also developing programmatic content which drives results throughout the digital ecosystem.
