The Company Secretarial function leads, develops and manages corporate governance throughout the Group. As principal advisors to the boards of directors on corporate governance matters, the team also holds responsibility for establishing and managing stock exchange listings; directing and managing shareholder meetings and equity raisings, and representing Group interests in the development of laws and regulations.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Trade Specialist III.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Maintain & improve teams’ productivity. By ensuring the Document Management functions are processed efficiently and in line with/exceeding SLAs and maintaining good communication with service providers (e.g. GSC, DHL, FB, WL) and internal customers
- Safeguard the Bank from potential loss. By ensuring all operations under his/her responsibility are in accordance with FIM, UCP600, Audit, CRF guidelines, Compliance and Money Laundering, and all other related guidelines
- Work with other GTS functions/teams to maintain/improve GTS operations and service standards
- Contribute to the efficiency of the Operations of Document management. By holding regular meetings with the staff, encouraging them to submit suggestions to streamline the working procedure and ensuring System functions (i.e. HIE, HTS, WDM and others) are fully used to the benefits of the business
- Contribute to staff training & development. By encouraging/nominating team members to attend appropriate training courses and by ensuring effective on-going coaching, counselling and feedback on performance including half-year and year-end appraisals
- Assist the Manager to keep overheads within the plan, and effectively manage all resources and identify cost saving opportunities
- Cover other Trade Specialist III in the Document Management during their absence/where required & Escalate any issues which are beyond personal authority levels, if any, and outside the scope of the job knowledge expected of your grade level
To be successful you will need
- A good team player who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizing and time management skills
- Can work independently and quickly, with good attention to detail
- Good to have, command of spoken and written English, Cantonese. Putonghua desirable
- Self-motivated with initiatives to take on new and additional responsibilities
- Possess good knowledge of all Trade products P47
