We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of WPB Business Financial Crime and Regulatory Risk Officer - IWPB BRR UTILITY HASE BFCR.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support Financial Crime Risk and Reputational Risk mitigation in the customer exit process through the review and preparation of client exit business justification to facilitate management decision.
  • Manage exit case appeal process through review of the supporting materials and handle frontline enquiries.
  • Assist in governance process including RRCSC meeting preparation and MIs for management reporting.
  • Collaborate and maintain good working relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure all the deliverables are achieved smoothly within scheduled timelines.
  • Provide accurate and timely project / process updates regularly to management.
  • Support management to execute CSEM activities at pace and with minimum conflict; and analyze stakeholder goals and effectively manage their expectations, addressing any misalignment.
  • Ensure tasks/initiatives adhere to both internal and external regulatory requirements, Local and Group policies and standards and minimize general risk to the Group.
    Requirements
    • Proven record of effective project execution and identify priorities.
    • Business understanding of WPB objectives and operating model as well as Group policies and standards.
    • Execute and deliver project tasks within budgets, time scales and of high quality of output.
    • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines and be change oriented.
    • Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
    • Attentiveness to details.
    • Ability to build connections and work collaboratively within WPB and across line of businesses.
    • Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
    • Strong knowledge of application software.
    • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.   

    Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
