We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering

In this role, you will:
•    Lead mobile Application team for Android  platform across Pods
•    Responsible to develop and continuously evolve application strategy
•    Enforce best developmental practises and maintain strong code quality
•    Explore new technology and tools and develop technology roadmap for mobile application
•    Be a part of the multiskill POD which is responsible for feature as well as technical delivery.
•    Business and IT senior stakeholder management
•    Being in industry expertise
•    Collaborate with POD leads and development leads to make sure the strategy and vision gets implemented correctly
•    Be a mentor and guide to developers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

•    Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with understanding of Android framework and libraries.
•    Experience in Android development tolls such as Android Studio, Gradle and Git.
•    Strong expertise in understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
•    Familiar with RESTful APIs, JSON, network frameworks, and third-party library integration.
•    Experience in handling performance optimization, memory management, and app security.
•    Good to have knowledge about testing frameworks like XCTest.
•    Solid understanding of mobile app development life cycle.
•    Hands-on experience with Version Control Systems & collaborative development tools.
•    Experience in working in an agile and DevOps environment.
•    Conversant with Android development and frameworks
