We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analyst – Data and Analytics
Principal Responsibilities
- Ability to convert business problem to an analytical problem. Guide a small team of individuals to provide solution to the analytical problem for multiple businesses/region
- Identify business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value. Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex analytical problems
- End to end project management & hands on delivery when required.
- Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems.
- Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards. Also drive business benefit through self-initiated projects
- Build hypotheses around customer behaviour and profitable growth scenarios and apply the right mix of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to identify causes and solutions
- Execute data-driven analytical approach to provide solutions/recommendations that improves business decisions for lending business across customer lifecycle from acquisition, onboarding , balance growth, deepening engagement and attrition management and produces clear impact on customer engagement and business growth ( while adhering to UK Consumer duty and Fair value principles)
- Create clear and concise documentation on data driven insights/ opportunities supported by solid analytics and logical thinking and present to project stakeholders in a clear structured manner
- Support cross functional/regulatory analytics initiatives as per business demand
- 1-2 years of analytics experience hands-on preferably within financial services or related field
- Hands-on experience in executing complex analytical approaches and arriving at solutions for business problems ( preferably within Credit Cards function )
- Good understanding of lending portfolio business drivers within lending or related domain in order to conduct pro forma financial analysis
- Proficiency in coding applications such as SAS / SQL and supportive analytical tools such as MS Office tools like Excel & PowerPoint is mandatory
- Experience of predictive tools such as Decision trees, forecasting techniques, Random forests.
- Gradient boosting would be added advantage
