We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Architecture Manager.

Business: CTO Platforms

Principal responsibilities

• Working with the platform cyber architect, you will develop deployment patterns and take them through governance, presenting them to the architecture review board and resolving queries.
• Manage External Hosting Committee (EHC) requests, reviewing the project teams' designs in order to ensure they meet the platform resiliency requirements together with providing advice on design and cost efficiency.
• Work with the product management team in the introduction of new platform services, ensuring architectural and security requirements are met and the products can be operated efficiently.
• Work with the architecture team in the development of the platform and the implementation of global initiatives.
• Support audit activities on the platform
• Work on ad hoc projects as required

• Have a high level business understanding of, and the implications of Cloud adoption for the business and able to translate business needs into appropriate IT (and Cloud) solutions, especially Ali Cloud.
• Have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Keen problem solving skills (Analytical and Creative)
• Experience working as an Architect or in an equivalent role
• Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams

Desirable requirements

• Experience working in a global team in an enterprise
• Experience in working in a global cross functional service management team
• Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company with exposure working within/for Financial Services
• A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change

Technical Requirements 

• Technical knowledge and breadth of cloud technology & services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning)
• Experience in creating and reviewing designs in order to ensure business needs while ensuring security and resilience are maintained
• Experience and understanding of large scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise-wide environments required
• An understanding of Identity and Access management principles and tools, role based access controls and organisational hierarchies
• Should have detailed knowledge of at least one cloud technology

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
