Asset Management Product Manager (Americas Head), HSBC Global Asset Management (USA) Inc., New York, NY:

 

Develops strategic vision and direction for Asset Management (AMG) product offering in global and localized markets. Sets medium-to-long term product development plan to position HSBC for market leadership. Formulates strategy for how AMG should position itself to achieve commercial success based on its investment capabilities. Responsible for P&L (profit and loss) of new and existing mandates and creates business cases for new products or product closures. Oversee full end-to-end global project requirements, set realistic timelines, and identify global resources to aid implementation. Establish feedback loop with sales and client service teams to drive development of future product roadmaps, features/functions in alignment with client feedback. Engage with client’s senior investment committees, representing the brand and delegating post-meeting activities accordingly. Builds network through industry associations, and Employee Resource Groups and keeps abreast of industry and competitor innovations as well as regulatory developments. Engage with other functional heads to support overall organizational effectiveness. Demonstrates performance-driven team management, support team career development opportunities, and coach and develop individuals.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay Range: $236,038 to $246,038 per year.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.

 

Must have 5 years of experience in:

  • US Liquidity and Short Duration competitive landscape pertaining to opportunities and threats of industry participants in terms of product offering, client servicing, reporting tools and operations;
  • National and international impacts of regulatory authorities on Liquidity funds;
  • Designing products and educating clients and stakeholders of these impacts through presentations and thought leadership pieces;
  • International and US domiciled corporate treasures’ investment needs in Liquidity and Short Duration strategies, as well as national and international cash management solutions;
  • Liquidity and Short Duration solutions impact in periods of crisis or in anticipation of periods of crisis; and,
  • Portfolio management experience in USD Liquidity and US Short Duration strategies.

 

Domestic travel required up to 5%.
