Commercial Banking

Global Trade and Receivables Finance -
Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager Trade Mid Office, Global Trade & Receivables Finance.

In this role, you will:
• Ensures daily transactions are running smoothly and meet bank service standards.
• Control the operations within service standard and provide supervisory to team to achieve business operating objectives, GTRF following Group’s policy and procedures and local regulations
• Contributes to the improvement of operation process
• Provide excellent services to customers
• Mentor/train other junior colleagues to deliver all business objectives in a sustainable manner
• Proactively builds up good relationship with stakeholders through daily communication, events and entertainment activities
• Expands knowledge by attending online courses, training courses, cross learning etc. provided by the Bank.

Information
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: 
• At least 5 years experience in banking - trade product
• Communication in English
• Customer and results oriented
• Organisation skills
• Thoroughly understand international practices: UCP600, URC, URR, ISBP, ISP, URDG, etc., candidate holding international certificate CITF/CDCS/CSDG would be an advantage.
