We are seeking a high caliber individual to join us as Assistant Sustainability Manager.
Principal Responsibilities:
- An integral member in shaping and implementing the sustainability strategy
- Analysis of latest sustainability trends and regulations
- Gain exposure to sustainability standards and leading best practices through assisting in the implementation of sustainability regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Act as the team’s key contact with ESG associations and educational bodies
- Assist in stakeholder management to achieve sustainable outcomes for the business
- Assist in prioritizing deliverables and project management
Requirements
- University graduate in a business discipline preferably with exposure to sustainable investing/finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience from buy-side/sell-side research, ESG ratings agency, regulatory ESG or corporate sustainability role
- Possession of ESG qualification such as CESGA or CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing would be preferable
- Able to work collaboratively, breakdown complex tasks into manageable components, and comfortable presenting to an audience
- Strong curiosity and passion for sustainability in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of high-level programming language such as Python and Generative AI would be an advantage
- Competent in using Microsoft 365 including Chinese language word processing
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Possess growth mindset and organizing skill
