We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Data and Analytics.

Principal responsibilities

  • The role is part of HASE Data, Analytics and CRM team in Guangzhou and is responsible for the management of customer information and provision of analytical deliverables for customer and banking initiatives.

  • The suitable candidate should be a self-driven person and a leader by nature in taking full ownership of the deliverables. One should be technically profound and fully loaded with business acumen and communication skills. One will work hands-on with the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Cloud environment for data and analysis process, and are required to deliver the results in a logical and ethical way to the stakeholders.

  • Design, formulate, and implement relevant analytics deliverables for customer relationship management and MI/BI with business insight, and convert analytical findings/solutions that will lead to achieve business goals (revenue growth, anti-attrition, and increasing customer engagement, etc.). During the process, closely collaborate with relevant teams/parties to obtain the supports required for these tasks.

  • Ensure the effective implementation of CM end-to-end process and identify opportunity for continual improvement.

  • Manage the timely delivery of output for team, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

  • Open-minded, be ready to be challenged in dynamic environment.

  • Possess leadership skills prepare a data analyst to complete decision-making and problem-solving tasks. 

Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related discipline with minimum 5 years' working experience on data analytics.

  • With solid experience of project management, campaign leads / event triggers deployment, MI reporting, customer data analysis to drive omni-channel customer life cycle management.

  • Experience in batch/real-time lead generation and decisioning, enterprise solution is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge on programming languages such as SQL, Python and SAS etc and cloud data knowledge for data analytics.

  • Self-Motivated, positive, passionate and willingness of continue learning.

  • Experience in team management and motivation for continuous improvement.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, and team management skills.

  • Possesses good understanding of business applications to convert data into a business value and advantage.

  • Highly effective communication with the ability to translate complex and technical analytical approaches into business language and outcomes.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
