We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Quants

Principal responsibilities

  • Quantitative support in the development of Analytics & Business Intelligence for Global FX (Foreign Exchange) Spot, STIRs (Short Term Interest Rate) & EM(Emerging Market) Rates using tick by tick data. Maintain process related to testing of analytics & accuracy of the data used.
  • Quantitative Research on improving Pricing & Risk Management Strategy for Spot Desk.
  • Quantitative Dev support in platform specific improvement and maintenance. Python & KDB.
  • Automating & Maintaining various Business Intelligence Reports & MI for top level management in GFX & EM  Rates Trading & Sales
Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Trading/Quant Development/Advance analytics in front office environment at a bank or Fin Tech
  • Ideally Bachelors/Masters/PHD in Engineering, Data Science.
  • Knowledge of statistical learning and data-mining techniques.
  • Exposure to Machine Learning concepts and its application on Time Series data.
  • Desired knowledge of script programming languages (Python)
  • Desired knowledge of database query languages (Q/KDB, SQL)
  • Aptitude to learn business and new languages, if desired by the role
  • Exposure to Global Capital Markets and understanding of FX(Foreign Exchange) and Fixed income products.
  • Desired knowledge and understanding of technology related to an electronic trading business.
