We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Insurance Advisory.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Client facing role to provide specialist advice on appropriate HSBC insurance solutions and/or to make referrals to external insurance brokers when necessary
  • Drive insurance sales and referral activities together with RMs
  • Manage sales planning and pipeline prioritization activities
  • Act as subject matter expertise and provide trainings to the floor on insurance
  • Manage insurance brokers to ensure their business productivity and service level
  • Ensure the insurance sales and/or referral process and activities are in compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements 
Requirements
  • Insurance licensed with at least 5 -10 years of sales experience, preferably in High Net Worth Market, with knowledge on wealth planning and Trust and PIC holding structures
  • Broad knowledge in insurance products, particularly on whole of life, universal life, savings, and private placement life insurance (PPLI)
  • Proven track record in insurance sales.  Experience in selling HSBC Life products preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong business mindset and self-driven character
  • Dealing with ambiguity – the flexibility to pivot and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Independent and able to work under pressure
  • Client oriented with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal English and Chinese, including Mandarin
