We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Business: Enterprise Technology

Principal responsibilities:

  • Integration / coordinator for all FTP (Finance Transformatoin Platform) test environments and batche prociess.
  • Drive automation of testing, Implement Health Checks to ensure stability across UAT, release management governance etc.
  • Coordination, communicate and plann the testing and release in FTP V2 which will potentially impact the production resilience. 
  • Update status proactively to stakeholders in Technology, Finance, so that necessary actions can be taken timely to keep the delivery on track
  • Accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by Teams adhere to the relevant HSBC Standards
  • Work with ITSOs to ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered
  • Influence and negotiate across all levels inside HSBC and with external third parties
  • Build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, third party consultants, etc
Requirements
  • Good understanding of the FTP application
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Knowledge and experience for implementation and testing with widely successful software delivery techniques
  • Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing practices
  • Business knowledge of accounting (Ledger) and Financial reporting
