Within CIB, our Capital Markets and Advisory team integrates our financing and investment banking activities under a single structure and focuses on three strategic pillars: Financing Solutions (Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Strategic Equity & Financing, Corporate Risk Solutions and Structured Finance), Corporate Finance, which comprises sector bankers and country teams, and Strategic Advisory focused on M&A and Equity Capital Markets.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate, Equity Capital Markets Syndicate.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
Coordination on live transactions with MSS colleagues and Coverage Bankers including speaking directly with clients
Coordination in arranging roadshows and investor teach-ins
Work closely with senior bankers and experts from other groups of the bank
Conduct sophisticated financial analysis and relevant industry research
Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation on live transactions
Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news
To be successful you will need
Prior relevant experience in an investment bank, private equity / investment fund
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong financial analysis and MS Excel modelling skills with great attention to details
Familiarity with MS Powerpoint and efficient presentation preparation skills
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
Appropriate language capabilities and the ability to obtain appropriate visa status or citizenship for the assignment location
