Within CIB, Securities Services provides robust and reliable solutions that help clients mitigate risk and enhance their performance. Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, Securities this team a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.  

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate, Global Trustee and Fiduciary Services. 

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

Lead, manage and develop a team responsible for: 

  • Ensuring the clients are operating in accordance with relevant investment objectives, rules and restrictions on the constitutional documents and investment management agreement of the fund
  • Analysing the rules and regulatory requirements that are needed to be setup in the system
  • Investigate the alerts, warning, and potential breaches that are escalated by the operational teams
  • Acting independently on monitoring and reporting breaches of the restrictions to clients
  • Ensuring client SLA are met and agreed procedures followed
  • The role is relationship driven and will involve conversation with clients.  Certain client servicing and problem-solving skills are required
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Appropriate Trustee or Funds experience, with some experience at manager level. Appropriate technical knowledge to deal with legal, accounting and technical issues arising in relation to servicing of funds
  • A good appreciation of fund regulatory environment and regulatory developments
  • Ability to analyse complex business issues and propose solutions
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written and spoken Chinese and English is a plus. Experience and confidence in dealing with clients at a senior level
  • High degree of computer literacy, excellent numeric and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong team working ability and capable of encouraging ideas and input from team members. Demonstrate management and coaching skills
  • Clear understanding of importance of effective customer service internally and externally
  • University degree or equivalent work experience
