Within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB), we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. We help our customers look after their day-to-day finances and manage, protect and grow their wealth.
Our wealth management teams provide financial planning and advice and market insight and updates, as well as products in areas such as investments, deposits, insurance, financing and foreign exchange. They include relationship managers, who work to understand the financial needs of clients and create strategies to meet their objectives, as well as technical product experts, sales managers and support staff.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate Vice President Investment Product Expert
Responsibilities:
• Support Premier Relationship Manager in improving sales quality, deepening and building the client relationship with HSBC.
• Support and work closely in partnership with Premier Relationship Manager team to identify client needs and sales opportunities. Provide specialist support and knowledge.
• Drive market leading, standards for conduct and controls in line with HSBC Values and expectations
• Strengthen HSBC’s image as a leading wealth provider by providing clients with access to advanced technical product expertise
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Strong coaching and influencing skills
• Indepth knowledge and expertise in area of coaching responsiblilty including portfolio planning, sales process and client skill
• Previous experience and proven record as investment/FX Specialist within HSBC or equivalent in other leading financial institution
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment and prioritize work assignments
• Have an understanding of the immediate Wealth Strategy and the ability to plan own activities accordingly
• Ambitious about providing the highest standards of delivery to colleagues and clients
• In depth knowledge of holistic Financial Planning Strategies
• Detailed understanding of generic financial vehicles and the areas of client needs they address in a financial plan
• Advanced levels of presentation skills using different platforms
• Up to date knowledge of global economic outlooks
• Able to demonstrate client centric goal related questioning techniques
