We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant  Specialist.

 In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for defining data requirements, transformation and enrichment logic for sourcing trade and reference data to meet regulatory reporting requirements. 
  • Responsible for analysis regulatory requirement for various regulations.
  • Supporting the development and testing stages of the project through to implementation.
  • Understand the regulatory requirement and able to convert into development ready user stories.
  • Exposure to Multi regulatory background. (e.g. MIFID, CFTC, EMIR, SFTR)
  • Work with the Trade Reporting PODs and product owners and other key stakeholders to deliver a standardised requirement definition approach in an Agile environment.
  • Prepare high quality functional stories with success criteria with full traceability to the business requirements.
  • Work closely with Trade Reporting PODs to define and manage the project delivery.
  • Participate and Co-ordinate with QA teams to define test plans and test harnesses
  • Provide input to design discussions and project planning meetings including full ownership of functional design.
  • Support production systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  •  Investment Banking/IT (5yrs +) Preferable experience in the field of Capital Markets & Regulatory Reporting OTC trade reporting.
  • Disciplined approach to requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Experience in capturing, analysing and documenting functional & non-functional requirements on Agile projects.
  • In depth knowledge of OTC derivatives - SME in either Interest Rate, Credit or FX Derivatives
  • Sound knowledge of documentation required in each stage of the project life cycle.
  • Strong business knowledge of Regulatory Reporting requirements (MIFID, CFTC, EMIR, SFTR).
  • Experience working within large/strategic projects in investment banking environment
  • Readily shares information/ knowledge. Develops highly effective working relationships
  • Actively collaborates with others across organisational boundaries in pursuit of common goals.
  • Recognises individual contributions and provide appropriate and timely feedback.
  • Highly articulate communicator with excellent written and verbal communication
