Global Transformation Centre is at the centre of how Global Transformation shapes, delivers and embeds change working with our delivery partners. They are typically responsible for providing assistance and supporting Design, Change Management and Implementation Management activities.
Business QA is structured and uniquely formed by a team with extensive testing experience and proficient with the testing techniques and tools expertise, with the aim to address the ongoing challenges in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) management faced by ASP WPB, in ensuring efficiency, consistency and quality in the testing output.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business QA Lead.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for coordination Business Testing with the local countries for changes to Digital Front end, Back end as well as end-to-end testing support.
- To ensure these meet customer expectations both internal and external, ensuring defects are identified before release.
- Undertake test preparation for a variety of projects resource estimating, planning, scoping, identifying data and environment requirements.
- Write and review range of testing documentation.
- Coordinate testing tasks for specific projects, progress issues and escalate where necessary.
- Regularly review testing processes in order to identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate activity of testers on multiple projects and provide support/coaching.
- Establish close working relationships within WPB Transformation.
- Review test documentation and provide coaching and feedback to colleagues.
- Adoption and use of testing standards and processes
- Chair and attend project update meetings, deliver project updates, and escalate any known issues and concerns.
- Adherence to mandatory objectives
- Alignment of activity to departmental governance
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Minimum 3 years experiences in end-to-end testing for large scale and major projects.
- Good banking domain knowledge in Data/Loans/Mortgage/Cards/Liabilities, Distribution channel (eg. Contact Centre, Internet Banking), Wealth products.
- Excellent awareness of technology and the internet including browsers, operating systems and devices
- Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.
- A strong team player who is highly collaborative recognizing their specialized role in the department and acknowledging other areas and individuals’ roles and responsibilities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex issues.
- Good decision-making skills to be able to evaluate importance of defects found during testing, based on impact.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Innovative having the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver.
- Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
- Language capabilities: Read and write in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese
