Process Implementation and Change is an important function of IWPB helping to achieve global and local strategic goals through project delivery. The team consists of Business Analysts, Testing, and Change Management, and works on projects to improve efficiencies and sustainability within IWPB. The team works closely with key stakeholders across IWPB’s divisions, as well as the Transformation and Technology team.
The Change Manager is responsible for leading and managing multiple business change initiatives across IWPB to support the realisation of benefits for our customers, people and community and achieve sustainable outcomes aligned to the broader business strategy. You will also be responsible for contributing to and supporting the continuous improvement of our Change Community ways of working.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support one or more change initiatives, providing advice to Portfolio Leaders such as scope, change impact, resourcing and scheduling; act as an interface between the delivery team, the business, and other projects to ensure proposed changes will integrate seamlessly and are scheduled optimally.
- Analyse the environment; scope and define the change across multiple initiatives to ensure outcomes and expected change impacts/benefits are clearly articulated and that agreed work is aligned to the overall initiative.
- Develop and manage the change plan to deliver agreed capabilities and realise customer and business benefits within agreed scope, time and budget; recommend and implement effective change solutions that put humans at the centre of transformation.
- Ensure required change capability is available (e.g. communications, learning) to deliver expected outcomes by partnering with internal teams and establishing clear accountabilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Change Community by attending events, providing feedback, sharing experience/knowledge and supporting the development and improvement of the Change Community’s ways of working.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field or PROSCI with relevant experience in managing highly complex change initiatives as a Change Manager.
- Proven track record of successfully improving businesses through change management and transformation.
- Domain and product experience within financial services, or related industries.
- Hands-on experience of agile ways of working and human-centred design/design thinking.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
