We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Cross Product Tech

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Must have good all-round Full Stack Engineering skills or can demonstrable experience of programming in multiple programming languages.
  • Experienced in Java and/or Python, Unix/Linux environment on-premises and in the cloud 
  • Experienced in React/Vue or other popular web UI framework . 
  • Industry level of databases and non-sql data stores 
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP APIs e.g. RESTful APIs
  • Experience with industry standard version control tools (Git, GitHub), automated deployment tools (Ansible & Jenkins) and requirement management in JIRA 
  • Exposure to Agile Project methodology but also with exposure to other methodologies (such as Kanban) 
  • An understanding of data modelling techniques and their application to relational and non-relational storage technologies 
  • Understanding or experience of Data Governance processes would be beneficial.
  • Understanding or experience of Cloud design patterns  
Requirements
  • Wants to/or enjoys changing the development landscape by engineering solutions  Have a basic understanding of the Data processes and methods 
  • Forward thinking, independent, creative, and self-sufficient, who can work with less documentation.  
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on own initiative and on multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Good English communication skills 
  • Strong team-working skills, working in global teams across multiple time zones 
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing project team methodology and performance. 
  • Cooperative team focused attitude 
  • Needs to be a Self-starter, proactive. 
  •  Inquisitive and a drive to understand how technology/systems work
