We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: Cross Product Tech
Principal responsibilities
- Must have good all-round Full Stack Engineering skills or can demonstrable experience of programming in multiple programming languages.
- Experienced in Java and/or Python, Unix/Linux environment on-premises and in the cloud
- Experienced in React/Vue or other popular web UI framework .
- Industry level of databases and non-sql data stores
- Deep knowledge of HTTP APIs e.g. RESTful APIs
- Experience with industry standard version control tools (Git, GitHub), automated deployment tools (Ansible & Jenkins) and requirement management in JIRA
- Exposure to Agile Project methodology but also with exposure to other methodologies (such as Kanban)
- An understanding of data modelling techniques and their application to relational and non-relational storage technologies
- Understanding or experience of Data Governance processes would be beneficial.
- Understanding or experience of Cloud design patterns
Requirements
- Wants to/or enjoys changing the development landscape by engineering solutions Have a basic understanding of the Data processes and methods
- Forward thinking, independent, creative, and self-sufficient, who can work with less documentation.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on own initiative and on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good English communication skills
- Strong team-working skills, working in global teams across multiple time zones
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing project team methodology and performance.
- Cooperative team focused attitude
- Needs to be a Self-starter, proactive.
- Inquisitive and a drive to understand how technology/systems work
