We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. 

Business: CIB - GPS Technology

Principal responsibilities

• Key contributor to technology delivery management activities, including project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, cost estimation, risk management, and timeline monitoring. Adhered to the use of the prevailing methodologies within Technology teams (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Assume the Scrum Master role or lead the technology projects within Cross Border Cross Currency sub value stream and collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, operations, technology teams, and subject matter experts, to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, dependencies, and deliverables, and manage project execution to ensure successful completion. Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Active participant to Working Groups and Project steering committees to effectively communicate project progress, budgets, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
• Foster collaboration and stakeholder engagement by building strong relationships and facilitating effective communication within a large complex matrix organization spread in multiple locations and time zones.
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring their alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to digitization, client onboarding, and client experience.

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, specifically in technology-related projects, within the financial services industry, preferably in wholesale banking, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives and evidence of managing large change/transformation project with impact to customer. 
• Proficiency in Agile practices and in business analysis techniques, such as requirements elicitation and user story creation.
• Must have experience in hosting scrum ceremonies, producing scrum and project status reports, managing technology requirements backlog via user stories, management of end-to-end traceability and prioritization of requirements in JIRA using the agile delivery methodology.
• Experience in delivering projects related to payments, ISO20022 and operational processes management.
• Strong analytical, decision making and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization across and working across multiple geographies and different cultures.
• Ability to transition rapidly into role and become effective within a short period of time.
