We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: IWPB Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • Work with Global product managers maintain the supply/demand planning to ensure the execution feasibility.
  • Work as part of Card engineering team with responsibility for CTB (Change the bank) project delivery or ongoing RTB support areas.
  • Collaborate with Global credit card domain SME to understand & feedback for the established development best practice & design/development principles.
  • Work with Credit cards solution architects/SME to review end-to-end technical design to ensure the design quality.
  • Lead engineers/developers to work on project delivery including the development & deployment with good quality & on schedule.
  • Review/Ensure the technical design/code structure is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior management.
  • Provide professional consultancy/support immediately for application teams’ queries/requests including the resource estimation.
  • Provide support to help on the whole card team productivity improvement including the DevOps/Agile strengthen and automation improvement within pipelines.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand the front to end processes including different product/business owners with related operations process quickly.
  • Preferred to have background with card domain knowledge/IT banking domain knowledge, leading project experience more than 6 years back-office system technical design.
  • Ability to have exceptional problem-solving skillset to quicky diagnose and resolve complex technical issue.
  • Ability to identify the fast connect with systems components/domains with business terms.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior business and functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills required to perform in depth review of risk impact of change in existing business.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and effect change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment on maintaining data and system.
